Prerequisites and any restrictions regulate the logical sequence of courses, ensuring that the necessary knowledge is acquired before moving on to subsequent stages of the study programme.

They are defined annually as part of the planning of the educational offer for the relevant Cohort and can be freely consulted at the University's Course Catalogue web portal  https://unipd.coursecatalogue.cineca.it/, as follows:

1. identify your Academic Year (A.Y) of enrolment (from 2019 to 2024 for the Medicine and Surgery - Padua branch and from 2025 onwards for the Medicine and Surgery - Venice branch);
2. on the "Single-cycle Degrees" section click on “go to courses”;
3. then click on "School of Medicine and Surgery" and select your degree programme (ME2491 for Medicine and Surgery - Padua branch and ME2955 for Medicine and Surgery - Venice branch);
4. Finally, view Annex 2 to the Degree Programme Regulations on the “Outline, texts and goals” section.
